An angled eyeliner brush is a GREAT tool
It was created at an angle for easier application of gel or cream liner, because you can get closer to the mirror with this angle versus a straight brush
Gel eyeliner benefits include
- controlled use with a brush
- can be layered easier than a pencil to create many looks
- usually are smudge or water proof
- more pigmented color means bolder effects
When using gel eyeliner, I like to play "connect the lines" by drawing short, spaced out lines on the eye line, and then blending them together.
Its much easier than trying to just draw a perfect line from end to end in one swipe, plus it helps build the color
