A great everyday look! Splurge vs Steal!

Here is a great makeup look for every day -whether its for office or out shopping, this blend of color is so in right now - and one you get the technique down, you can create it quickly and look amazing every day!

I borrowed this scheme from Chanel Makeup Artist Yannike Lamaire, and I plan on using it on some brides this summer!  Below is Yannike's official sketch of what he calls the "Fleur de Pensee" look:

So we know that the Chanel products are the Ultimate SPLURGE!  The splurge look will run you appx $130 for the eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipgloss, but you can get a similar look in a STEAL with Nars' "Front Row" kit that includes the eye duo "Nouveau Monde"



as well as your eyeliner, gloss, and their famous highlighting cream (that you can use to accentuate cheekbones, and the orbital bone around the eye area)

This kit will be released this month, and will retail for appx $85 (which the eyeshadow alone generally sells for $35!  So its quite the deal!)

My choice is the SPLURGE, because I prefer the bolder berry shade of the Chanel lip, and I also like the darker green shade of eyeshadow better.  I'm also just a huge fan of Yannike's style and he had direct input into the creation of these shades!
