My style lately
My style lately has been one part sweet romantic and one part rocker chic - but not to worry, my skitzo style has been ultimately complimented by this amazing little accessory!

Epic Fail from Benefit
Oh Benefit, it looks like you went to market too quick on your newest product - didn't you have any testers?!
Ladies, skip this one from (the normally fabulous) Benefit:
The Fine One One (obvi a play on the term 4-1-1) is supposed to be an all in one tool that gives you contour, blush & highlighter in one step!
Sounds great in theory, but in use its awful! first of all, I don't even like the formula, and the oblong shape applicator doesn't contour the face properly. And for $30, I don't think that's a price point you pay and not love it, ya know?

This brush is the perfect size for precise application of finishing powders (next item!) contouring bronzers under the cheekbone and even applying blush! Its the ONLY face brush I bring in my travel bag!
4. Tarte Amazonian Clay "Smooth Operator" finishing powder ($28 at Ulta & Sephora)
This powder is INCREDIBLE! It zaps shine, seals in moisture, provides SPF protection and sets makeup without a heavy cakey feel of some powders!
(fun fact: Tarte put a deluxe travel size in most of their kits this Christmas, and people have been selling these on ebay for $7-$10 - check it out!)

Keeping cuticles healthy is the most essential part of maintaining your finger nails. Moisturized cuticles hold necessary vitamins in, and soft cuticles reduce hangnails and peeling. I've been applying nightly before bed (swipe over cuticle and then rub in) and I've noticed a difference in 3 days!
Note: when painting nails, apply this cuticle oil after top coat has dried at least 5 minutes, this will make your manicure look its best!
Your next item will have you looking so up-to-date with the latest in nail art, the reptile skin!
Essie's "Repstyle" (cleaver, no?) $12 each
polishes create a snakeskin look by using a magnet in the top of the polish! (Yeah, we've seen this before in early 2011 when the magnet polish came out, but that was basic stars, THIS is totally snakeskin, and the colors are fabulous!)
There are six shades
I really think it pops with the namesake, "Repstyle" but I'm all for keeping in as authentic as possible with "Crocadilly"
Its so easy, you paint each nail and then hold the magnet on the top of the applicator over the nail to 'pull' the design through...
Trust me, this is a great $20 investment that will have your nails in great shape this week!
